Ray Allen Gets His Shine.

Ok so he's my favorite player besides Kobe and Garnett
and im so happy there giving my dude some shine!
I mean he has been to all star games in the past but he
hasn't started.
So let's see what happens this year!

Boston Celtics guard Ray Allen will replace injured Orlando guard Jameer Nelson next week in the NBA All-Star Game.

Allen was added to the Eastern Conference team Thursday by commissioner David Stern after Nelson was forced to pull out because of a torn labrum in his right shoulder.

Allen will be making his ninth All-Star appearance. He also was an injury replacement last season and scored 28 points, helping the East to a 134-128 victory over the West in New Orleans.

His selection gives the defending NBA champions three All-Stars, with Kevin Garnett voted a starter by fans and Paul Pierce selected as a reserve.

Nelson also must be replaced in the skills challenge on All-Star Saturday night.
